Employment Advice!!! HELP!!!?

All right. I just got a job working for 7.50 an hour full time. I have an interview set up with another company that could possibly pay more. Do I need to turn in a 2 weeks notice at the place I just started? Or can I just quit? I'm not sure how to go about getting out of my new job if this next one pays more. HELP!!!

(oh and I live in Pittsburgh PA is that is any help)Employment Advice!!! HELP!!!?
Jobs come and go in your life but the respect that you give the people you work for last your entire career. If the other company hires you Great. Tell 7.50 thank you for this opportunity and give them notice you are leaving them soon as you start your new job. The New job will give you time to wrap up things with your old job. They understand that sometimes you have to wait for people. I had a job wait a month for me before. It is your life, if they want you they will be patient for you to finish your time at the other place.

Maine is a nice place. You will need all the money you make now for thermals and electric socks. Stay warm. Move there before or after winter and not during, because you won't be able to move once winter hits.Employment Advice!!! HELP!!!?
You are not legally obligated to give a two week notice to your employer. However, I think it would be a respectable move if you at least give them some type of notice. Even just an one hour notice would be respectable.

Go on the other interview - if you land the job then go back to your other job and give notice.

Remember, when you create your next resume you want to show that you are a stable employee who is trustworthy. So, I wouldn't burn any bridges.
wait until you see if you actually get the other job - if you've only been there a short time - just quit and don't even list it ever on your resume
If you're leaving for Maine, I don't think I'd worry about the 2 week notice. If you're not going back to Pittsburgh, you're never going to worry about the bridges you burn there.
i believe it is always best to give any employer as much notice as possible. you don't know if you have the second job or not yet, but if you do get it, then i would negotiate with your current employer to see when they will let you go. never burn any bridges. you never know what will happen in the future.
u dont need a 2 wk notice...just wait though to find out if this other job pays more.
