ok so i go for my amnio on friday morning. The doctor that is doing it said that my placenta was on the front wall of my uterus. I just need to know if anyone has had an anterior placenta and had a successful amnio. PLEASE any answers will be appreciated.I need advice! help!!?
for some personal advise. I am 28 now, but I had my first son when I was 16 and from experience and what I have been told about an amnio...it's mostly to see if the child has down syndrome and other birth defects and I did NOT have one I refused it because there are hidden risks with the amnio and I would have loved him no matter what so I waited till the day he was born even to see if he was a boy or girl. I have a second son and I didn't have one with him either. There are risks involved with any procedure, but b4 I made a decision to have one done, I would weigh my options, like why the doc wants to do it, how has the pregnancy been so far, is fetal movements and heartbeat normal, if everything is normal, for my personal opinion I wouldn't have it done, but that my opinion
