I need advice/help (I am 08 weeks pregnant)?

My last period was 25 Jan 2007 and found out that I am pregnant on 07 March 2007. According to my doctor, that was about 07 week pregnancy and to do follow up on monthly basis. But these 02 weeks, my tummy seems very obvious like people pregnant for 04 - 05 months. In the past (03 children, my tummy only seen around 04 - 05 months. FYI, this is my 04th child. Is this normal? Or is the sign that baby will be big?I need advice/help (I am 08 weeks pregnant)?

This could mean a lot of things; it could mean that your last period wasn't a period, but implantation bleeding, and that you are further along than you believe. It could be a large baby, it could be twins, or it could be an unusually large amount of amniotic fluid. In any case, if you're concerned, go to your OB and ask him/her to do an ultrasound to check what's going on, and estimate fetal age.
I am a mother of three...eight weeks is about 2 months...have you gone to an ultra sound? if not then try to have it and ask your doctor coz in that way they can really measure the baby's growth...sometimes it happened that we know its our last period but that might be the period after conception...that happened with my second child before...im already pregnant for a month but still i have blood spotting which i really suspected i am not pregnant by that time...my doctor advice me to have that ultra sound and found out that im already 2 months pregnant...Dont worry your baby is normal...just observe the good diet for you and the baby...
Don't want to alarm you but have you checked to see if it's twins. I had a huge belly by 12weeks because of twins.


If it's not twins it could just be a lot of extra fluid.
I could always tell I was prego before the test showed positive because I produce A LOT of water. It may also be twins that is what everyone kept telling me but both of my little boys were born as singles and it was just too much water. good luck with everything.

They say the more babies you have the earlier you start to show, considering your tummy has stretched out so many times before. Or it's possible you're carrying multiples. At this time you'd have no indication of the baby's size at birth, considering that at 8 weeks all fetuses (or actually, they're embryos at that time) are less from about 3/4 of an inch to an inch and 1/4 long...not much room for difference, for telling how big the baby will turn out to be, or the baby itself actually causing you to show. Likely your body just knows what's coming and is already preparing.
