Ok can rats eat raw eggs?





And can i carpet my cage floor im tarting my cage up lol!Rats?Advice??Help????????????
No on the raw eggs. You can give them hard boiled or scrambled eggs though.





As for the carpet, you won't be able to clean it, or wash it, and it will end up stinking bad within a week, and going in the trash. To tart up the cage, get some linoleum tiles or scrap - pink for girls, blue for boys, or whatever color strikes you.





You other option would be to put down fleece to line the cage - but that will get chewed, need replacing, or need washing - and also will end up needing more care than a wash or wipe down like the linoleum would.Rats?Advice??Help????????????

they love dog treats though.





carpeting would probally be a waste rats LOVE!!! to chew and shred things. thats what they live for. the best new toy i can give mine is something to shred they would rather that then a new 100 dollar toy. aha


and they could pee and poop on it wich will make it stink and rats already are prone to respitory problems.

No, don t give them raw eggs for the same reason humans shouldnt eat them.. salmonella. But cook them and the rats can enjoy :)





Sure you can carpet their cage, but they will just shred it all up and make it all comfy. So if you dont mind them chewin it then sure carpet it... however you will have to throw it away come cage cleaning time, unless of course they are litter box trianed. Have fun!
i do not think they can eat raw eggs any more than we can, (because of salmonella) i doubt they like them though.





you could carpet you cage, bot they would probably chew it up and poop on it.
i don't know ? but i would boil them or something just in case ? i would not but carpet it would mess the carpet up with his teeth and maybe get choked on a piece

i think you can carpet it but you will have to wash it every time u clean them out
rats can NOT eat raw eggs it will make them sick and it could kill them
