I am doing weight watchers. Don't criticize it because I have lost 30 lbs on it before. I am 5'2 and weight 180 pounds. So I am quite overweight. I have been struggling w/ my weight my entire life. I know how to lose weight though, I have done it before.
So here is my plan
Eat no more than 18-20 points a day
Drink only water (besides my cup of coffee and possible green tea)
Don't eat past 7:00
Try to eat only whole wheat bread
What else can you recommend?Advice/Help on a diet plan for me (more info) Any advice will be greatly appreciated?
First of all STOP DIETING! You cannot stay on a diet your whole life. Then, u want to watch how many carbs you consume. When your body burns colories it burns carbs first. If there are no carbs to burn it will burn the calories stored as body fat. Carbs are bread pasta rice potatoes. Pretty much anything white. Next, find out what your daily calorie requirement (dcr) is. Dcr is the numer of calories you need to consume each day to maintain your weight. Eat less than that number. Finally, exercise. I'm not talking about weight lifting although that is good. But if you want to loose weight you need to do cardio. Like walking running spinning. Anything to get your heart rate up. That is what makes your body burn calories.Advice/Help on a diet plan for me (more info) Any advice will be greatly appreciated?
If you know right weight loss information you can lose weight. I tried the way here this site and I lost 14 pounds in 2 weeks. It is very easy to lose weight. You can get my weight loss way that lost me 21 pounds in 55 days here http://bit.ly/ihxclb8
Move everyday. I did WW too with great results. After loosing about 21 pounds the scale stopped moving. That's when I got moving. Even if it's a 30 minute walk, it will help. Good for you!
When I did weight watchers the online food diary and charting tools was a real motivator. Also, there is a website you may or may not be familiar with called Dottie's Weight Loss Zone.

She has tons of restaurants and the points or calories in their foods. I was shocked to see that when I thought I was being ';good'; I was actually not.
Also my doctor gave me some great advice once.. take it one day at a time. Don't set a long term (I will lose X pounds by X date) kind of goal. Wake up each day and say... ';Today I will only drink water'; or ';Today I will only eat 20 points.'; It make sit seem much more do-able. :)
I think you are awesome to make a plan. Keep up the good work!! Good Luck!
OH I FORGOT: Hungry Girl has 2 great cookbooks. She makes things that taste good but have very low calories. They are typically very simple and quick to make. I would recommend her cookbooks. You can check out her website online too. She is very WW friendly!
I am doing my first figure competition in october so I am on a special (competition) diet...and it requires cutting out all sugar, and most carbs...I am losing weight every week now!
if you are going to eat carbs don't do them at night, save them for breakfast and lunch..carbs need to be burned off so that they dont turn into fat..and sugar is stored directly as fat..so avoid them all together.
when you do have carbs, only do whole grains, sweet potato's, brown rice, and green veggies
